PRM 2 questions
« on: September 07, 2009, 16:07:06 »
Does anyone else have the problem that only the Australian based teams(Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney) are available to play in the super 12 when starting out and if so does anyone have an idea how to get past that(I guess if I do well and wait long enough the job could be offered to me)?

I also read that to become Englands manager you need to win in the Zurich premiership. Is that true and if so does it apply to other international management jobs like South Africa, or can I get it by winning the African Cup(Currie Cup) or X12(Super 12).

Thanks for any help :)

Does anyone else have the problem

Hi mate, and welcome.
I gogled a bit and couldn't find any explanation, I am replying only to make sure you don't think you are being ignored, really :D
Anyone?
Once Boss Goshdarnit is back (if he ever will, damn), he is the most likely to have an answer.

I've won the Zurich Premiership and had no mention of the England game.

You can get the International job by playing in any league. Winning that league doesn't guarantee that you will get the job. There is also a random element (to represent that there will be other good coaches applying for the job also). You are more likely to get the International job if you choose a small country for your nationality. So if you select Scottish, you are more likely to manage your national side than if you choose English or French.

I can'ty help with the other problem. Never heard of that, and I never played the Super 12, so I haven't experienced it either. Is it maybe to do with the difficulty level you choose?

You should be able to run it under Compatibility mode though. I think. Haven't tried it, but it should work.

Works fine for me on windows 7.

To play as the Aussie teams you go to X12 and select the team.
To play as the SA/NZ teams... well, if it's anything like when I've player 2004, you don't. Sure, you get to play in the NPC or Currie Cup but you don't get to play them at rep level

But having said that, maybe it's like the internationals and you get randomly picked. I've dominated the Currie Cup and haven't been selected, but then again sometimes I have been dominant and haven't been picked as national coach.
